COLOMBO: Galle Face saw a sea of heads on Saturday evening on April 9 to protest against the present policies of the government and to urge the President to quit his portfolio to save Sri Lanka.
The crowd comprises people from all faiths. Although it was a fasting period, Muslims too participated in the rally and even broke fast with the foods given by the members of other faiths.
The crowd did not move from the venue even till midnight. It was learnt they would continue their stay through Sunday.
