NEGOMBO- To commemorate the anniversary of the Easter Sunday bomb blasts, a peaceful march was staged under the leadership of Colombo Archbishop Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith on Wednesday,April 21.
The peaceful protests which started from the Maris Stella College in Negombo ended at the Kautwapitiya Church where a number of worshippers were killed in the Easter Sunday tragedy two years ago.
People from various religious faiths joined the procession which called for the punishment of those who were responsible for a series of bomb blasts which had killed 257 innocent people and injured some 500 people.
