COLOMBO : Major General (Retd), Muhammad Saad Khattak, High Commissioner of Pakistan on Wednesday (30) paid a courtesy call on the Commander, Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, as a part of his itinerary in Kilinochchi.
The Commander Security Forces- Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) welcomed the High Commissioner and had a discussion on the present situation in the area and the military involvement in social welfare projects and assistance to civil community in Kilinochchi.
The High Commissioner of Pakistan expressed happiness over prevailing civil- military relations and underlined the importance of further strengthening of such bonds.
The Advisor to Pakistan High Commission, Dr. Asela Wickramasinghe, Senior Superintendent of Police Roshan Rajapaksha – Director Environment Protection & Western Province Environment Protection, Brigadier Deepal Hathurusingha – Brigadier Admin and Quartering SF-KLN also were present on the occasion. The exchange of mementos culminated the meeting.
