KANDY : – Lt. General Muhammad Ali (Retd), Defence Secretary of Pakistan, paid a visit to the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy and the International Buddhist Museum, where Pakistan has established an exhibition showcasing Buddhist heritage and artifacts from the country.
During the visit, the Defence Secretary was received by the Honorary Consul General of Pakistan, Afzal Marikar, at the museum premises, where the two exchanged pleasantries.
The visit highlights the longstanding cultural and religious ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, reflecting Pakistan’s continued engagement in preserving and promoting Buddhist heritage.
