COLOMBO – The Pakistan Food Festival and Cultural Show to mark its 75th year anniversary was held at the BMICH premises on Saturday August 12 under the patronage of High Commissioner of Pakistan Major General (Retd) Umar Farooq Burki.
Pakistan High Commission Colombo with co sponsors Habib Bank Limited & Muslim Commercial Bank organized Pakistan Food Festival & Cultural Show to celebrate the 75 years of Pakistan and Sri Lanka diplomatic ties as well as in line with the Independence Day celebrations of Pakistan in the month of August.
Press Wing, Pakistan High Commission managed to bring in authentic Pakistani food, dresses, calligraphy, live traditional music & dances and much more. All the stalls were highly appreciated by the guests.
Ambassador of Russia Levan S. Dzhagaryan, High Commissioner of Malaysia Badli Hisham Adam, Embassy officials, Pakistan Community and a large number people visited the stalls.
