COLOMBO : Trade and Investment Attaché Ms. Asmma Kamal visited Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce and met with the management and members. She was briefed on the working and initiatives of the oldest regional chamber of Sri Lanka.
A detailed discussion was held regarding the trade and investment opportunities specific to Hambantota district, collaboration in IT sector, vocational training of the youth and promotion of women entrepreneurship in the district. Ms. Kamal briefed the participants regarding bilateral trade between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and the various targeted initiatives underway for economic cooperation in high potential sectors.
