COLOMBO : The National Housing Development Authority organized a drawing competition among school students on the theme of “Beautiful House” to mark World Housing Day this year. School students from all over the island submitted more than 4500 drawings in two languages, out of which more than 200 selected drawings were exhibited at the Colombo Public Library auditorium.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Deputy Minister of Housing P.V. Sarath and National Housing Development Authority Chairman Arvind Sirinath and General Manager Engineer K. Janaka on Tuesday, the 8th. The exhibition was visited by students in the Colombo area and will continue on the 9th from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm.
