COLOMBO – The 53rd National Day of the Sultanate of Oman was held at the Shangri La Hotel, Colombo on Monday November 20.
It was held under the patronage of Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to Sri Lanka Ahmed Ali Said Al Rashdi.
The chief guest of the ceremony Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha and Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to Sri Lanka Ahmed Ali Said Al Rashdi cut the anniversary cake.
Minister of Transport and Highways and Mass Media Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana, Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva, Minister of Fisheries Douglas Devananda, State Minister of Foreign Affairs Tharaka Balasuriya, State Minister of Rural Economy Kader Masthan Deputy Ministers, State Ministers, Members of Parliament and Ambassadors were also present.
