COLOMBO : The new Pakistan High Commissioner appointed to Sri Lanka, Major General (Retired) Farook Mohammed Burqi arrived in Colombo on Monday evening on Jan.10.
Burqi who was his country’s envoy in Amman earlier, will succeed the former high commissioner Saad Khattak who left the island on completion of his tour of duty in Sri Lanka.
