COLOMBO : Senior journalist Mohan Samaranayake assumed duties as the Director-General of the Department of Government Information today (19).
The new Director-General assured that every effort will be made to ensure the expected role of the Department of Government Information by properly publicizing accurate information.
Senior journalist Mohan Samaranayake further stressed the necessity to provide accurate information to the public as it helps strengthen Government’s political and socio-economic policies.
