Nepal embassy opens condolence book

COLOMBO – The Embassy of Nepal in Colombo has the honour to inform with profound sorrow of the devastating floods that occurred in the riparian areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and other districts of Nepal on 26 August 2026, resulting in the loss of lives and extensive damage to property.

In solidarity with the bereaved families and in remembrance of those who lost their lives, the Embassy will open a Book of Condolence at the Embassy premises on the following dates and times:

Members of the public, members of the Nepali and Sri Lanka community, and friends of Nepal who wish to pay tribute may visit the Embassy during the above hours to sign the Book of Condolence.
