COLOMBO : The Trustees of Al Masjidul Bhadriyeen, Nawala Jummah Masjid, Rajagiriya, made a donation to the President’s Fund for the children in Gaza .
Th trustees of the mosque handed a cheque to the Minister if Buddha Sasana,Religious and Cultural Affairs Vidura Wickremaranayake, at his office at Sethsiripaya, recently.
The Trustees of Al Masjidul Bhadriyeen, Nawala Jummah Masjid, Rajagiriya, who were present at the time of donation were Al Haj M.Abu Haniffa, Haji Ifnee Shuaib and Al Haj Mohideen Cader.
Mohideen A Cader told the Colombo Times the the donation was from the collection from the members of the congregation of the Nawala Jummah Masjid. “ It was heartening to note that the enthusiastic response from the members of the congregation to help these deserving children in Gaza who are suffering for no fault of theirs,” Cader concluded
