COLOMBO : The Sri Lanka Navy has taken into custody a local multi-day fishing vessel along with four suspects during a special operation conducted in deep waters south of Sri Lanka.
The vessel was reportedly transporting a consignment suspected to contain narcotics at the time of interception.
The Navy stated that the fishing vessel, the suspected drug haul, and the four individuals are being brought ashore for further investigations and legal proceedings. More details are expected to be released.
