COLOMBO : Former provincial councillor, Nauzer Fowzie, son of the former senior minister A H M Fowzie, signed the nomination to contest the upcoming General Elections under the Gas Cylinder in the Colombo District.
Former Colombo Deputy Mayor M T M Iqbal was also present during the signing ceremony held on Thursday,October 10,
Nauzer Fowzie well- known for his charitable activities was deeply involved in helping developing under-privileged schools with renovations and constructions of new classrooms.
He is contesting for a parliamentary seat for the first time following his father’s retirement from parliamentary politics.
