Excellency,
I have the honour to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency and
the people of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on the celebration of the 77 National Day
of Viet Nam.
Our two countries have shared warm and cordial relations over the span of several
centuries. I note with great satisfaction that we have celebrated the 50 Anniversary of the
establishment of our formal diplomatic relations in 2020. Cooperation between our two
countries in the areas of political, economic, defence, trade, agriculture, education and
culture over the years have been noteworthy. I look forward to furthering this multi-
faceted partnership in the years to come.
Viet Nam’s outstanding achievements during the last 77 years under the able guidance of
the visionary leaders of the Communist Party, domestically, regionally, and internationally
are widely recognized and looked at. I am also happy to note the invaluable contribution
made by Viet Nam in various international platforms in the advancement of peace and
stability and economic development.
