Nation Healthcare Association hosts a free medical health camp in Colombo

COLOMBO : The Nation Healthcare Association organised a free medical health camp on Sunday, 26 July, at the Moors Islamic Cultural Home (MICH), Pasha Villa, Dematagoda, Colombo. The programme was held under the patronage of the Association’s President, Dr. Mohamed A. Afzal.

The health camp offered a wide range of free services, including medical consultations, blood sugar and blood pressure screening, height, weight and BMI assessments, ECG tests, eye examinations, nutritional counselling and physiotherapy advice.

The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, Maj. Gen. (R) Dr. Nayyar Naseer, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while MICH President Omar Kamil graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

Doctors representing various medical specialties, Vision Care medical staff and a large number of patients participated in the camp.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Mohamed A. Afzal presented a token of appreciation to the Chief Guest, Maj. Gen. (R) Dr. Nayyar Naseer, in recognition of his presence.
