COLOMBO : The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka,MCL,has wished all the Christian sisters and brothers a blessed Easter Sunday.
In a message sent by MCL President N.M.Ameen said : “ We also solemnly remember our innocent sisters and brothers and their families who lost their lives and who were injured by the terrorist attack on Easter Sunday in 2019.”
“ We urge the Government to ensure justice by apprehending everyone responsible for these dastardly attacks. We also urge all Muslims and fellow Sri Lankans to help the Government in their drive to root out all kinds of terrorism and groups espousing violence, and to contribute to peaceful coexistence in our Motherland,” Ameen concluded.
