Five beautiful contestants, considered by an eminent panel of Indian judges to be the best out of the 75 competing for the coveted five beauty titles that the married Indian ladies can vie for Internationally, were crowned amidst a glittering backdrop at the grand finale of the Mrs. India Inc. Season 4, held at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre on Wednesday, 19th July 2023.
The winner was Chethana Joshi Tiwari, 1st Runner up- Disha Ganesh Shetty, 2nd Runner up- Sohini Rohra, 3rd Runner up- Nikita Satya and 4th Runner up -Roohi Marjara.
Speaking to Colombo Times.net Mohini Sharma of India Inc. said that she is the Franchise holder in India for all International Beauty contests that the married ladies can compete in and that she has been the National Director for same since 2019.
India Inc. Ventured out of India this time, for the first time to hold this pageant that chooses the five representatives of India for the prestigious five International pageants, namely Mrs World, Mrs Universe, Mrs Earth, Mrs. Globe and Mrs. Galaxy. “It has been a great experience that concluded well” said India Inc. National Director Sharma at the conclusion of the finale about having chosen Sri Lanka to hold the beauty pageant.
When questioned if she will hold next year’s pageant in Sri Lanka again, she said that everything was a positive in Sri Lanka and the only negative was that the contestants missed their families and friends being witness to the pageant first-hand. Nevertheless every other aspect was well fulfilled by the amazing hospitality of our host hotel and the warmth of the Sri Lankan people” she added.
“Sri Lanka and India share a powerful bond. As for the warmth and the hospitality in Sri Lanka, I would rate it as better than India” she said.
The five winners also spoke about their experience being hosted in another country and shared similar sentiments of praise and expressed satisfaction of a well concluded event.
The winner, Chethena said “I didn’t feel like I am not in my country India. There was a sense of belonging. Everything was amazing. I am so happy to be in Sri Lanka and getting this crown in this country.”
2nd Runner up- Sohini said it was her 2nd trip to Sri Lanka and because of the wonderful holiday she had here last, she was looking forward to this trip and was confident that everything would go well.
Cinnamon Hotels housed the contestants from the 13th to the 19th of July, a visit to the Cinnamon Bentota and hosted an After Party on the night of the Grand Finale.
