COLOMBO : Modera Maha Vishnu Temple had organized a reception to honour outstanding social activists,religious scholars and journalist including photographers.
The journalists were given cash awards and photographers got their professional kits, while the others were draped in golden shawl.
The recipients included, prominent sports journalist and social activist Ram Krrishnan, religious leader Reverend Babu Sharma and Municipal Councillor Raju Bhaskaran.
The event was sponsored by Weeramoorthy Guruswamy and Dharshan (Roots) on behalf of the Hindu community.
