COLOMBO: We pray to God on this holy day for the economic development of all countries, including Sri Lanka, which is currently facing an economic crisis. This year Almighty Allah gave us the privilege of fasting for 30 days in the Holy month of Ramadan and in that sense we grateful to Allah the Almighty.
To all Muslims who celebrate this great day Happy Eid-ul-Fitr. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it clear to us how we should behave on this day. The Feast of Fasting is a good day to sanctify man. So we are obliged to look after our neighbors as well as the poor and the needy people. It is very important to treat them well and help them in their difficulties.
