MUHEED JEERAN …
COLOMBO : I had a nice meet-up with this entrepreneur gentleman, Ifthikar Hussain, at the dinner hosted by him. I was amazed to hear his journey, starting with a hard path to reach this height. It is always nice to meet and learn about the journeys and experiences of others to bolster our activities.
He is engaged with Brother Machinery Asia Ltd., Japan, as the head of the south-west region and also covers the East Africa region. He is a Lahore-based businessman, and he is also a consultant director for the garment industry in Pakistan. He works with Hugo Boss Germany and Enkatex Germany.
This is the first time I met him in person, although we had known each other online for the last couple of years. He is a very charitable person who has immensely helped the poor but is much unknown to the public. Recently, he generously helped 1500 schoolchildren with school stationery items in Galle district. Even though I got to know him at first couple of years ago, he generously came forward to help financially a helpless Sri Lankan medical student abroad when I was searching for donors. He blindly helped that student because of my integrity in helping the helpless.
According to my observation, he has massive knowledge about the apparel industry and its development, which our government should make use of his expertise knowledge. I am delighted to meet this humble human, and I wish him all success in his business and charitable causes. May Allah ( SWT) bless him and his family.
