The Katukelle Jumma Mosque together with Kandy City Mosque Federation and Ramya Lanka, successfully hosted Meelad Day 2025 on Sunday, 21st September at Katukalle Jumma Mosque, Kandy under the theme ”Mercy for the Worlds.”
The event was graced by G.H.M.A. Premasinghe, Chief Secretary of Central Province, as Chief Guest. The Keynote Address was delivered by Ash Sheik Amhar Hakameen (Imani), Director – Academic Affairs, Zam Zam Foundation, who shared inspiring reflections on the life and message of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The program brought together a large gathering of religious leaders from all faiths, government officials, business community leaders, and well-wishers who reflected on the Prophet’s (PBUH) timeless message of mercy, unity, and compassion.
