COLOMBO – Mastercard has officially come on board as the Title Sponsor for the special musical celebration marking the 69th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Sri Lanka and Nepal.
The event is being organized by the Sri Lanka–Nepal Business Council in collaboration with the Embassy of Nepal in Colombo on Thursday July 9.
To mark the partnership, Mastercard Country Manager Ms. Mahesha Amarasuriya officially handed over the title sponsorship cheque to President of the Sri Lanka–Nepal Business Council Indhra Kaushal Rajapaksa during a ceremony held at the Embassy of Nepal in Colombo .
According to the Embassy of Nepal, the commemorative musical event will celebrate nearly seven decades of enduring friendship and diplomatic ties between Sri Lanka and Nepal. The event is expected to bring together members of the diplomatic corps, government representatives, business leaders, and other distinguished guests in celebration of the long standing relationship between the two nations.
Charge d’ Affairs of Nepal Embassy Vijay Kumar Raut and Business Council officials were also present.
