MELBOURNE: Marlene Kairouz M.P. For Kororoit Victoria presented a cheque to the Australian Sri Lankan Association Inc. for $500,000 from the Multicultural Community Infrastructure Fund grants program to complete final works of the new Ravenhall Cultural Centre.
Whilst presenting the cheque she stated that the emerging Sri Lankan Muslim community living in Victoria does not have a permanent place to conduct its activities. The hall will become a central place for gathering, community support and worship services.
