March 3 provides grim reminder of India’s of terror activities in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: March 3 will continue providing grim reminder of New Delhi fanning terrorism in Pakistan as it was on this day in 2009 when terrorists attacked the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore, and on the same day in 2016 Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested by Pakistani forces in Baluchistan.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, on Saturday, March 4, said the terrorist attack on Sri Lankan cricket team was carried out on March 3, 2009 with an intention to harm Pakistan’s reputation by showing it as an insecure country for sports events. Later, on March 3, 2016, Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav was also arrested from Baluchistan confirming that India was masterminding terrorist activities in Pakistan.

The report said that following his arrest, Kulbhushan made startling disclosures about Indian involvement in subversive activities inside Pakistan. The confession by the detained Indian spy has proved that India is financing, planning and carrying out terror acts in Pakistan, it said.

“India has been supporting Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) elements to use them as proxies for its nefarious designs against Pakistan and Kulbhushan Jhadav remains a living proof of Indian hostility and state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan,” the report said.

It added that Pakistan has presented irrefutable evidence about Indian links in terrorist attacks in the country and maintained that New Delhi has violated international norms by financing and sponsoring terrorism against Pakistan.
