COLOMBO: A man was reported dead after an air conditioner (AC) compressor exploded at a hotel in Getambe, Kandy.
According to Sri Lanka Police, the deceased was attending to repairs on the A/C unit on Tuesday (4) afternoon when the incident took place.
The deceased was identified as a 24-year-old from Matale and an investigation is underway.
