COLOMBO – On Tuesday, October 8, Dr. Rizvi Salih signed his nomination papers at NPP headquarters as a NPP candidate for Colombo District forthcoming General Elections.
Dr. Salih is a Member of the National Executive Committee and also a Member of the Business Forum of the National People’s Power.
Being a medical practitioner for well over three decades, Dr. Salih is married to the grand daughter of former Labour minister, the Late Dr M C M Kaleel and he is the son-in-law of former Municipal Assessor Late Jaufer Sadik who was the brother of former Speaker M H Mohamed.
Speaking to Colombo Times, Dr.Rizvi said he is confident that he can play a predominant role under President Anura Kumara Dissanayake for a better Sri Lanka.
