COLOMBO : The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the following appointment according to a proposal presented by the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Development, Policy Compilation, Planning and Tourism.
- Appointment of H.C.D.L.Silva, the Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Accountant Service, who is serving as a Director General of the Department of Treasury Operations, to the Deputy Secretary of the Treasury.
- Appointment of D.A.P. Abesekara, the Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Planning Service, who is serving as the Director General of the Department of External Resources at present, to the post of Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, after the retirement of R.M.P. Rathnayaka, who is currently serving as a Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, on 06-11-2024.
- Appointment of A.N.Hapugala, the Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Accountant Service, who is serving as the Additional Director General of the Department of Public Finance, to the post of Director General of the Department of Public Finance, that will be vacant as to the appointment of H.C.D.L.Silva, to the Deputy Secretary of the Treasury.
- Appointment of N.S.M.P. Ranjith, the Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Planning Service, who is currently serving as the Acting Director General of the Department of Project Management and Monitoring, to the post of Director General of the same Department.
Appointment of Mrs.J.M.S.D.Rathnayaka, the Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Planning Service, who is presently serving as the Additional Director General of the Department of National Planning, to the post of Director General of the same department
