
LONDON : Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Ali Sabry called his countrymen in the United Kingdom to become partners in re-building the cash-trapped country.
Sabry is in London to attend the the 22nd Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM) at the Commonwealth Headquarters, Marlborough House, London on March 15.
Following the meeting with the Sri Lankans, Sabry said : “ During my meeting with the British-Sri Lankan community at our High Commission in London, I invited them to be stakeholders in the government’s vision to build a modern Sri Lanka with peace & stability and also be partners in our economic recovery.”
