LANKAN ENVOY OPENS TRAVEL OFFICE IN MALE: Traveller Global woos Maldivian tourists to Lanka

MALE: Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Maldives,A M J Sadiq called Maldivians and other foreigners in the country to visit the Pearl Island since his government has lifted the mandatory PCR tests for incoming tourist to Colombo.

The envoy was addressing the guests at the re-locating the office of the Traveller Global in Male on Tuesday, March 1. In the midst of distinguished guests.

Special invitees included, SriLankan Airlines Regional Manager Jayantha Abeysinghe, its Country Manager for Maldives, Fawzan Fareid, local sponsor Yameen Adam,managing director of Donad Investments and Nauzer Fowzie, former provincial councilor.

Managing Director of the Traveller Global, Rizmi Reyal delivered the welcome address as soon after the opening of Traveller Global refurbished outlet.

Speaking further, High Commissioner Sadiq said that he was delighted to open the new outlet in Male which could facilitate travel services of the Maldivians and some 20,000 Sri Lankans in the Islands of the Maldives.

Abeysinghe from Sri Lanka’s national carrier said that the new outlet is being opened at the right time when Colombo is opening up for foreign tourists following the pandemic attack.
