COLOMBO : The Registrar General’s Department has made arrangements to prepare a revised format of the birth certificate for all citizens of the country with effect from the 01st of July.
Details from one’s birth to death will be updated on the database using the latest technology, Registrar General W.M.M.B. Weerasekara said.
An updated birth certificate will be issued based on the advice given by the Minister in charge of the matter, Chamal Rajapaksa, the Registrar General further said.
