COLOMBO: Sri Lanka has decided to enforce ban on Burqa and all face covers.the government announced here on Tuesday, April 27
Sri Lanka’s Cabinet of Ministers on Monday April 26 decided to ban the Burka, said the Ministry of Public Security.
The proposal on imposing the ban on the burqa was made by Rear Admiral (Retd.) Dr. Sarath Weerasekara, the Minister of Public Security.
