COLOMBO: Dry rations were distributed among 500 low-income group families in the Slave Island in Colombo on Friday, June 18.
The event held under the patronage of Justice Minister Ali Sabry covered the poor in Kiwi Lane, Mohan Road and Police Passage in Slave Island in Colombo 2. The beneficiaries include daily wage earners who could not earn their living because of the period of travel restrictions
