COLOMBO — Sri Lanka Islamic Centre Maligawatte, Colombo had organized the Annual Awards Ceremony Colombo District Inter Ahadiyyah Schools Meelad un Nabi Completion was held at the Sri Lanka Islamic Centre Reception Hall recently.
It was held under the patronage of Chairman of SLIC and former Ambassador of the Saudi Arabia Hussain Mohamed
Counsellor of Malaysian High Commission in Colombo Mohammad Tuming was present as the chief guest and distributed medals, certificates and prizes to the winners of the contest.
Former High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom President Counsel Faisz Musthapha, SLIC Member of Board Dr. Ruvaiz Haniffa and Secretary Shahul Hameed Mohamed also addressed the gathering.
Islamic Centre Member of the Board Akbar Careem, Director Moulavi M.B.M. Zarook, Ahadiyyah Schools Principals, Teachers, parents and students were present.
