Iran cultural counselor calls on deputy minister Mulafer

COLOMBO — Cultural Counselor Iran of the Embassy of Iran , Ali Kebriael Zadeh paid courtesy call on Deputy Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs Muneer Mulafer at his Ministry on Monday January 26.

The Cultural Counselor Ali Kebriael Zadeh says the Iran Cultural Center is almost 40 years old in Sri Lanka and has good relations between the two countries. Also he said the Cultural Center was ready to work with the Ministry of Cultural and Religious Affairs in various islamic activities.

Deputy Minister Muneer Mulafer recalled the Iran Cultural Center’s publications ” Message” and “Sandeshaya” magazines that are useful and interesting to read .. ” I am reading both magazines.”

The Minister said his Ministry has two sections One is Religious and the other one is Cultural. Minister Muneer also thanked the Iran Government for helping Sri Lanka in critical times and remembered the Uma Oya project too. He requested the Iran Cultural Center to promote Arts and Culture among the school children.

Deputy Minister Muneer and Iran Cultural CounselorAli Kebriael Zadeh discussed bothe countries bilateral relations in this meeting and Counselor Ali Kebriael Zadeh presented memento to the Minister Muneer Mulafer.

Iran Cultural Center Ali Reza Shahini and Ministry Senior Officials were also present.
