BANGALORE : Sri Lanka’s spinner Maheesh Theekshana was sold to Chenna Super Kings (CSK) for INR 70 Lakhs ( LKR 18.9 million) after Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) also showed some interest in the bid. Theekshana’s base price was INR 50 Lakhs.
96 players have been sold up to now and the total amount spent up to now is INR 4,42,05,00,000. Three Sri Lankan cricketers were sold in the auction up to now.
