BANGALORE : Sri Lanka’s star pacer Dushmantha Chameera will be playing for the new team in the IPL , Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). His base price was 50 Lakhs. LSG and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) contested in the bid war for Chameera. The bid quickly passed INR 2 crores and LSG sealed him at 2 Crores (LKR 54 Million). Chameera played for RCB last season.
Charu Sharma continued as the auctioneer for the 2nd day of the IPL Auction 2022 after Auctioneer Hugh Edmeades collapsed while the bidding process was underway for Hasaranga in day 1 of the auction.
Liam Livingstone was the most expensive foreign player sold to Punjab Kings (PBKS) for INR 11.5 crores.
The IPL auction is still underway in Bangalore.
