Dubai: The 30th match of the IPL 2021 was won by Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni. Dhoni won the toss and CSK scored 156 losing 6 wickets at the end of 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 88 runs not out to help CSK reach 156 after they were 7 for 3 wickets at one point. Saurabh Tiwary was not out at 50 runs at the end of the Mumbai Indians (MI) innings where MI only reached 136 runs. Dwayne Bravo bowled well and took 3 wickets for 25 runs. MI was led by Kieron Pollard as Rohit Sharma was deemed unfit to play. Ruturaj Gaikwad of CSK was adjudged the man of the match.
CSK goes on top of the points table with 12 points and run rate of 1.223 while Delhi Capitals is in second place with 12 points and a net rate of 0.547.
