SHARJAH:  An all-round performance by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) contributed to a 3 wicket win with 10 balls left. After consecutive wins Delhi Capitals (DC) were eyeing top spot on the points table at the start of the match.  DC were restricted to 127/9 in their 20 overs by KKR after winning the toss and inviting DC to bat first. KKR reached the 130 for the loss of 7 wickets in 18.2 overs. Nitish Rana 36 runs, Shubman Gill 30 runs and Sunil Narine 21 runs off 10 balls were the major contributors with the bat. Sunil Narine also took 2 wickets for 18 runs (4 overs)

Avesh Khan bowled well for DC with 3 wickets giving away only 13 runs (in 3 over) however DC bowlers could not do enough to halt KKR from reaching the low target set by the DC batsman. Rishab Pant (captain of DC) and Steve Smith contributed 39 runs each for DC.

This win gives KKR a more likely chance to make it to the play offs. KKR now stands at 4th place with 10 points while DC is at 2nd place in the points table with 16 points. CSK continues to lead the points table with 16 points and a healthier run rate than DC.
