COLOMBO ; An Indian vessel carrying a consignment of fuel has arrived at the Colombo Port today (29), according to the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation.
The vessel, Hari Anand, docked at the Dolphin Jetty of the Colombo Port, transporting a total of 36,000 metric tons of fuel.
The shipment includes 18,000 metric tons of diesel and 18,000 metric tons of 92 octane petrol.
The Ministry further stated that the process of pumping the fuel from the vessel to the Kolonnawa Fuel Storage Complex has already commenced.
