COLOMBO : External Affairs Minister (EAM) of India Dr. S. Jaishankar arrived here on an official visit on Monday 22 December as Special Envoy of Prime Minister and meet with the Sri Lankan leadership.,
On arrival, he was received Deputy Minister of Tourism Rohan Ranasinghe.
The visit underscores India’s Neighbourhood First Policy and takes place in the context of Operation Sagar Bandhu launched to address the devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah., the statement concluded.
