KANNADA : Kannada television actress Soujanya died by suicide recently at her home in Kumbalgodu in Bengaluru. According to reports, Soujanya hung herself to death in her apartment in the city. The police found her mortal remains in her room Thursday September 30 morning. A case has been registered and an investigation regarding her suicide is currently underway.
Sounjanya’s suicide has sent shockwaves in the Kannada television industry. She was 25 years old. She was a resident of Kushalnagar in the Kodagu district. However, Sounjanya moved to Bengaluru for work.
The police recovered her mortal remains in her room this morning. A death note was also found. Sources close to Soujanya revealed that she was troubled by her deteriorating health and issues in the television industry.
In her death note, Soujanya repeatedly apologised to her parents for taking this step. Her three-page death note mentioned three dates – September 27, 28 and 30. The police are of the opinion that Sounjanya decided to take this drastic step three days ago.
