ANTIGUA: India will take on England in the final of the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2022 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, on Saturday, February 5. The match will start at 6:30 PM IST.
In the road to the finals, India won against Australia in the second semi-final on Wednesday, while England swept aside Afghanistan in the first semi-final earlier this week to reach the finals.
India will look forward to extending their record by winning a fifth U19 World Cup title after suffering defeat in the final of the last edition to Bangladesh. England, are in the final just for the second time, having lifted the title once in 1998.
Both India and England have shown their dominance throughout the tournament winning all five matches to get to the final. We can look forward to significant contributions from Indian skipper Yush Dhull and England skipper Tom Prest in the final, both having shown the ability to Anchor the innings in the middle order.
The toss will be at 6:00 PM (IST) while the match will commerce at 6:30 PM (IST). (RZ)
