COLOMBO ; The National Dengue Control Unit,has reported the risk of dengue has increased in Puttalam, Nattandiya, Kurunegala, Badulla and Haliela Health Medical Office Divisions.
Medical officer Ashani Dhirasinghe stated that, in addition, the risk of dengue has further increased in the districts of Colombo, Jaffna and Gampaha.
80,222 cases have been reported so far this year with the highest number of dengue cases being reported from Colombo district which is 16,948 and the second highest number of dengue cases being reported from the Gampaha district.
