COLOMBO : The whole Maligawatte celebrated 150th Annual Burdha recital at the Grand mosque on Sunday, Feb.18.
Dr Razeen Anver who is the chairman of the mosque along with the mosque Secretary A H M Iqbal welcomed the guests who flocked in hundreds
Parliamentarians S M Marikar and A H M Fowzie were present along with well-wishers of the mosque. It was a great opportunity for those who emigrated from Maligawatte to meet and greet their dear ones.
All the guests were served with a sumptuous lunch and Niyyath- gifts to take home.
The Maligawatte police had made special arrangements to manage the crowd and ease the traffic in the congested roads
