The symbolic 2,333,797th guests were Prof. Felix Beslin Pereira, Mrs. Reena Fernandez, and Ms. Ann Cristina Pereira, a family from Thiruvananthapuram, India, who arrived on SriLankan Airlines flight UL 162.
This achievement is especially noteworthy as it comes despite recent cyclone-related challenges. The collective efforts of tourism stakeholders, public institutions, airline and transport services, security forces, and local communities enabled Sri Lanka to overcome disruptions and restore normalcy.
