COLOMBO: Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has informed Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe that he will be resigning as previously announced,
Prime Minister’s Media Unit said in a statement.
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena said that President informed him that he will resign on 13th July.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has not yet made a direct public message over his resignation.
