COLOMBO : A song has gone viral today as an international anthem for women who have been cheated by their husbands and lovers
The song has been written by Chennai-based Sri Lankan poet Pothuvil Asmin, who made his debut in Tamil cinema, with the song ‘Thappellam Thappe illai’ in Vijay Antony’s movie ‘Naan’.
He has already written promo songs for the films ‘Viswasam’ and ‘Annatha’ that have gone viral. He has also written Jayalalitha’s funeral song.
The song has been composed by Sri Lanka’s national award-winning composer Sanuka and the song has been sung by popular Sri Lankan singer Windy Gunathilakka, Rukantha and Chandralekha Gunatillake’s daughter.
