COLOMBO : Pioneers of the All Ceylon YMMA Conference were remembered on its Founders Day held on Saturday ,April 30 at the ACYMMAC Auditorium under the chairmansship of National President Ihsaan A Hameed.
In his keynote address Patron of the YMMA Khalid M Farouk recalled the contributions made by the founder president Dr A M A Azeez who left no stone unturned to make the YMMA a progressive organization. Dr Azeez was ably assisted by the Late Lafir Cassim and the late M L M Farook.
Farouk further pointed out that the YMMA national anthem was copied from Cairo by Dr. Azeez, while its motto – Faith Unity and Discipline was taken from Pakistan.
Ali Azeez,son of Dr Azeez was present as a special guest to remember his late father .

President of Muslim League, Nazar A Kamil, Abdul Raheem, Special members Mohammed Rasooldeen, Shibly Hashim, Imran Hussain, Representative from YWMA Sri Lanka, Kahatowita YMMA President Firdouse participated in the event.
