COLOMBO : Former Sri Lankan high commissioner in the Maldives and veteran politician Al Haj Ali Farook,80, passed away in London on Friday, June 26
He had passed awaduring his visit to see his daughter who lives in London .
Late Mohamed Ali Farook hails from Dehiowita .
Farook has four daughters who are living in various parts of London.
He was an old boy of Zahira College .Colombo,where he received his secondary education.
His janaza arrangements will be notified in due course
